JRS is present all over the world, in an effort to help refugees everywhere needed. The Greek branch, JRS Ellada was founded in November 2015, during the crisis created by the massive arrival of refugees. Its action is focused on four essential points: education, emergency support, integration and advocacy. JRS Ellada runs three hospitality shelters for the vulnerable refugee families and for the children of immigrants at Victoria’s square.

MEROPION is a Greek charity foundation created in 1914. Originally taking care of the education of 160 indigent school girls In Dionysiou Aeropagitou, Meropion created in 2004 a new nursing home in Kallithea taking voluntary care of 33 old ladies from Greece in great difficulty and deprived of all resources.
